Florentino Sandoval, Jr. worked for his foster parents Robert (Bob) and Violet Mae Huerta at their family business, Taco Town from the age of 12 up to the year 2010. He also worked for a brief time at the Log Cabin Cafe in 2011, before he retired full time. He enjoyed fishing, riding his bike and taking a drive in his car. He was a very happy Go Get Em' type of guy. He always made the best of every situation. He was always smiling and laughing. Towards the end of his time he enjoyed his freedom to be who God made him to be and that was to be loved by the people who love him, his family. He will be missed greatly, forever in our hearts and forever loved. His smile and his laugh will be missed daily. He's loved truly by his family, many cousins, nieces and nephews and his many friends!

He is survived by his son Johnathan Sandoval of Illinois; daughter Paula Sandoval-Gutierrez of Scottsbluff; granddaughter Emma Gutierrez and grandson Isaiah Gutierrez; brothers and sisters John Sandoval of Scottsbluff, Lupe Sandoval of Texas, Abe (Danny) Sandoval of Scottsbluff, Manuel Trevino of Scottsbluff, George Trevino (Maria) of Lincoln, Joe Trevino of Scottsbluff, Alex Trevino of Scottsbluff, Israel Trevino (Shannon) of Scottsbluff, Gabriel Trevino (Melinda) of Colorado, sisters Lupe Trevino Ramirez (Raymundo) of Scottsbluff, Inez Urquiza (Guerrero) of Scottsbluff; stepfather Manuel Trevino, Sr. of Scottsbluff; uncle Fred Crespin of Arizona; his longtime companion Karen Dugan; best friend Sam Brown; God sent Maren Lynn Chaloupka; and former sister in law Sally Jimenez.

He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Antonio and Clara Crespin; foster parents Robert and Violet Huerta; mother Katy Trevino; aunts Julia Crespin and Susie Casteneda; uncles Johnny Crespin and Paul Crespin; nephew Sparky Antonio Sandoval; and son in law John Gutierrez.
